The Women’s Rodeo World Championships are going on in Fort Worth/Arlington, Texas and our Alberta sisters and Muscle Checkers Makayla, Shelby, and Marissa Bois...joli are competing against each other in the Team Roping event. Over the past three days they have all roped their way to the Elite 18 and will be roping off tomorrow, with the top Six teams advancing to Friday night for the title of World Champion Team Roper and a $60,0000.00 top prize! In Team Roping, there’s a Team, and a Huge Shout-out to Makayla’s partner on the heels, Lari Dee Guy, to Shelby’s partner on the head end, Kelsie Chase and to Marissa’s header, also Kelsie Chase. Meet Patrick Fisher, 16 year old, 6’7" basketball player who, in 2019 was a member of the U15 Team Alberta at the National Championships with a commendable 3rd ...place finish. He currently attends Salisbury Composite High School in Sherwood Park and plays for GOOD Hoops U17.
