We recently brought a new mother living rurally to Regina for a diagnostic at RGH and 2-day old baby Aerith (photo and first name shared with Mom's permission) needed someone to hold her while the procedure took place. Our Patient Transfer Specialists volunteered to stay beyond the end of their shift to hold her and keep her safe. This was a stress relief for both Mom and the staff at RGH! SPTS doesn't just provide transportation, we provide every patient a truly unique experience with compassion and professionalism.

SPTS provides a range of non-emergency medical transportation services outside of inter-hospital transportation, including doctor's appointments, long-term care relocations, specialized palliative transportation, weddings/outings, etc. Anyone can call us 24/7 to inquire about transportation with our service. Story shared with family permission: SPTS had the honour and privilege to take a 99-year-old Canadian Veteran cancer patient home to his family farm near Strasbourg over the weekend for a special ceremony from his long-term care facility in Regina. It had been a very long time since last being at the farm. His family restored the barn that our patient and his wife built themselves way back in the day and they were having a small family gathering with a grand reveal and dedica...tion. The weather couldn't have been nicer! He was so happy touching some of the original barn pieces that he manipulated by hand himself. This was an amazing family with a wonderful story and SPTS is proud to have made this happen by going anywhere required! We are not only used for medical transportation, but also as specialized transportation for patients wanting the next level of personalized service! Everyone at Saskatchewan Patient Transfer Services is thinking about our Regina EMS brothers and sisters (Regina Paramedics with Heart) over this weekend and reflecting on the great loss of their team mate Robbie Curtis. He may have left far too soon, but he will never be forgotten.

SPTS' 2nd anniversary was June 15, 2020. We are breaking ground every day and rapidly growing as Saskatchewan's go-to non-emergency stretcher medical transportation provider. We are about to complete our 3,500th patient transfer and we couldn't have accomplished this without our wonderful Patient Transfer Specialists and strong relationships with the SHA, long-term care facilities and the wonderful people of Saskatchewan! We recently had the privilege of transporting a patien...t from SK to BC, all while continuing to serve Regina and surrounding communities. We have a list of milestones to achieve over our 3rd year of operation, and can't wait to include you all on our journey.
