Entrances and music coordination with DJ and MC is also such an important element of a wedding planner. During the cocktail hour, we not only test all the music for the entrances but we also ensure that it starts at the right time so theres not too much build up/music in the beginning. We spend time with the MC to ensure that the pronounciation is correct for all family names and all entrances along with family member names have been incorporated We gather and line up fa...mily members outside as per the agenda . We have two of our own planners to open doors for entrances and one planner inside the room to coordinate sound and lighting!! This is what it takes to get your entrances to perfection. Ever thought how a family member would be able to handle all of this?!?! The reception took place @canadian_convention_centre and we worked with the venue to ensure that the floor plan logisticially worked for all guests and bride and groom. #itwasmangattobe When deciding where to put the stage for the bride and groom please keep in mind these points Are the projector screens being blocke...d? Is there enough room around the bars? Would DJ require a stage and if yes, ensure he is still above to view the dance floor Do not put people on the same side as the backdrop. Also start the tables where the dance floor begins and stage ends. Ensure you have atleast 2 double sided buffets for guests over 300. There are so many logistics that we planners have to keep in mind during our final venue visit. We are always behind the scenes to ensure your memorable moments are perfectly planned!!!!! Breathtaking views of this Sikh wedding by the lake. Felt like a destination wedding in Toronto. Swipe for more pictures. We had to work around so many logistics for this wedding. -Ensure guests were directed properly - Ensure tent, decor , DJ, catering, Granthiji were setup in time... - Assign space for shoe removal so it doesnt show in pictures - Hand out rumaals to guests before ceremony - Coordinate Bride and Groom entrance - Ensure Bride was comfortable during her long walk from bridal suite to the tent(flats all the way) - Ensure guests were hydrated and food was out in a timely manner - Ensure ceremony concluded on time We had 4 SAWC Coordinators present on this day from 7am-2pm just to ensure it was absolutely perfect!!
