As of February 15th, anyone driving back into Canada must show proof of a negative PCR test taken within the 72 hours before arrival. On top of that, as of February 22nd, travellers coming back into the country through our land borders must take a PCR test on arrival and another toward the end of their 14-day quarantine. Also, as of February 22nd, travellers flying back into Canada will need to take a PCR test when they land, before they leave the airport. These travellers wi...ll also be required to reserve, prior to departure to Canada and at their own expense, a three-night stay at an approved hotel. This is where they will quarantine while they wait for their test results. Those with negative results will be able to finish their 14-day quarantine at home, under significantly increased surveillance and enforcement, while those with positive test results will be required to immediately quarantine in designated government facilities.
