On Remembrance day our kids club learned about the men and women of WW1 and WW2. Here are a couple beautiful creations that one of our youngest children created to honour all those who have served our country.

The Act of Remembrance They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning. We will remember them. We will remember them.

Our first in person service has begun!

Simcoe Street United Church 18.09.2020

We are opening for in-person worship this Sunday! It seems inconceivable that we have not been together in this space since March. It will be different from what we are used to. We have to wear masks, follow all the social distancing rules and be screened and register for potential contact tracing. It will seem strange at first, but we can get through this together. Please be aware that the mission will be running just as it does every day. This means we will not have access to the parking lot or the rest of the building outside of the sanctuary. It looks like the scaffolding will not be completely down by Sunday. This means we will need to enter by the Bagot Street doors. A greeter will be there to direct you.
