The flip side of solo gatherings means all the cheese to yourself! Searching out the best Baked Brie recipe!? We got it! Save this for the Holidays... BROWN SUGAR + PECAN BAKED BRIE 1-wheel Camembert or Brie cheese cup brown sugar, packed plus 1 tbsp 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup 1 tbsp unsalted butter Pinch of cinnamon Pinch of nutmeg Zest of orange cup chopped pecans cup dried cranberries 1 tbsp SMAK DAB Hot Honey Jalapeno OR Cranberry Wine Mustard Pinch of kosher salt DIRECTIONS Preheat oven to 350F. Place Brie in a baking dish or rimmed baking sheet, and sprinkle with 1 tbsp brown sugar. Bake for 12-15 minutes until softened. Let cool for 5 minutes. In a small saucepan, combine remaining sugar, honey, butter, spices and orange zest over medium heat. Bring to a boil then remove from the heat and stir in nuts, dried cranberries, mustard and salt; allow to cool slightly. Spoon warm sauce over cheese with bread and crackers. @paulineboldt See more

All I want for Christmas is... Cranberry Mustard + Maple Roasted Brussel Sprouts with prosciutto, Parmesan & dried cranberries! We think @basicswithbails knocked this recipe out of the park! What do you think?... Tag your sprouts lovin’ pals that need this recipe! INGREDIENTS 20 Brussel sprouts (Halved) 1 tbsp @smakdabmustard- Cranberry Wine 1 tbsp maple syrup 2 tbsp olive oil Salt + pepper 2-3 slices of prosciutto (chopped) 1/3 cup freshly grated Parmesan A handful of dried cranberries DIRECTIONS 1) Fill a medium-size pot with water and bring to a boil over high heat. Add halved Brussel sprouts and boil for 5-6 minutes. 2) Preheat oven to 400 F (200 C). 3) Combine boiled brussels sprouts, cranberry wine mustard, maple syrup, olive oil, and salt and pepper in a large bowl and mix well. 4) Transfer to a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes depending on your oven. Stir periodically to ensure sprouts brown on all sides. 5) Remove from oven and add chopped prosciutto, Parmesan, and dried cranberries. Serve immediately or let cool and store in the refrigerator to be eaten later. @basicswithbails See more

3 reasons why we LOVE this Honey Curry Glazed Pork recipe: 1. It's quick and easy! 2. Family friendly! 3. It only requires 3 main ingredients! ... Don't believe me? Try it for yourself! Honey Curry Pork 4 boneless pork chops, about 1-2 thick (you could also use tenderloin) 3 tbsp olive oil cup @smakdabmustard- Curry Dijon cup melted honey Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper Preheat oven to 375 F. Add the oil to a large oven-proof skillet and turn to medium high heat. Season the pork generously with salt and pepper on both sides and sear the pork until there is a nice golden-brown crust, about 3-4 minutes per side. In a bowl, mix together the mustard and honey, and pour the entire mixture over the meat. Bake for 40-45 minutes, (flipping the meat halfway) or until the meat is cooked all the way through and the sauce is thick and reduced. Remove the meat and reduce the sauce on medium heat- if needed. Serve the meat with the remaining sauce. Tip: Chicken breasts or thighs are equally as amazing with this recipe! Just alter the cooking time accordingly. @paulineboldt See more

When life gives you lemons... you make a Lemon Dijon Vinaigrette! Save this recipe for later! Lemon Dijon Vinaigrette... 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice 1-2 tsp @smakdabmustard- White Wine Herb, Curry Dijon or Honey Horseradish 2 tsp melted honey or maple syrup 4-5 tbsp olive oil or grape seed oil Good pinch of salt and pepper Combine all the ingredients above in a jar and shake well to combine! Sometimes we all need a hug, but a bowl of our Cheeseburger Mac + Cheese is basically the same thing Save this recipe for later! (I promise you’re going to love it!) @CrockPot Cheeseburger Mac + Cheese... 1 tbsp olive oil 1 lb. lean ground beef or any meatless alternative yellow onion, diced or 2 tsp onion powder 2 cloves garlic, minced or 3 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp kosher salt 1 tsp black pepper 2 tsp paprika 2 tsp dried oregano 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 5 cups beef or vegetable stock, divided 1 cup of water 4 oz. cream cheese, cut into cubes 3 tbsp SMAK DAB Mustard (any flavour will do!) 12 ounces pasta, about 3 cups (any short tubular or spiral pasta, such as macaroni or rigatoni) Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste 1 cups shredded cheddar cheese Heat olive oil in a medium skillet, add ground beef + cook until browned, about 5-10 minutes. Drain the excess fat. Add onion and garlic, cook until tender- 2-3 minutes. Stir in pepper, paprika, oregano and 1/2 tsp salt. Pour the meat into the Crock-Pot. Stir in 4 cups of stock, water, pasta, cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce and mustard. Cover and cook on high for 1- 2 hours, until the pasta is tender but not overcooked. (Cook time will vary on the pasta, start with 1 hours and adjust from there). Stir once halfway through and be sure to smooth into an even layer so it’s well coated with the sauce. Once the pasta is cooked, turn off the heat and add the cheese. Stir to combine. Add a splash of stock as needed if the pasta looks dry, the cheese will melt into the liquid to create a luxurious creamy cheese sauce. Cover the mac and cheese for 5 more minutes until the cheese is melted. Season with additional salt and pepper if needed. @paulineboldt

Dinner is served! Save this recipe for later! CRANBERRY BALSAMIC ROAST CHICKEN... 5-7 chicken thighs or breasts, skin on preferably 1 tsp Italian herb seasoning (dried thyme, oregano, or basil work too) cup SMAK DAB Cranberry Wine Mustard 1 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp soya sauce (tamari or coconut aminos work, too) 3 tbsp maple syrup or honey cup balsamic vinegar tsp kosher salt tsp freshy ground black pepper 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped 4 sprigs of fresh thyme, optional In a bowl, mix together herb seasoning, mustard, oil, soya sauce, maple syrup, vinegar, salt, pepper, and garlic. Add the chicken and marinade for 1 hour to overnight. Remove the chicken the fridge and preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Place the chicken and sauce in a baking dish skin side down and add the thyme sprigs. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until the meat is cooked through. Remove from the oven, flip the chicken, and roast another 10-15 minutes, until the skin is slightly crispy and sauce is caramelized. Remove from the oven and serve with remaining sauce. Chef Tip: Don’t have enough or any Cranberry Wine Mustard? No problem... this recipe is delicious swapped with Beer Chipotle, Honey Horseradish, Curry Dijon or Canadian Maple Mustard. I give this recipe It might be fall, but last time I check Devilled Eggs didn’t have an off season! I can’t stress this enough- these are really good!... Save for later! Green Eggs + Ham Devilled Eggs Recipe by: @the_mattinthehat Serving: 6 Devilled Eggs Ingredients: 6 eggs - hard boiled 2 Tbsp - @smakdabmustard- White Wine Herb Mustard 1 ripe avocado - mashed finely 1 clove garlic - finely minced 1 Tbsp - Plain Greek Yogurt Squeeze - lemon juice Garnish: Prosciutto - thinly sliced and rolled into a cylindrical shape Dehydrated parsley Smoked paprika Microgreens or sprouts Method: Cut the hard boiled eggs 2 thirds of the way up just exposing the yolk Gently scoop out the yolks of the eggs and place in a bowl To the yolks, add Smak Dab White Wine Herb mustard, mashed avocado, minced garlic, and greek yogurt Mix the mixture until smooth. This week Smak Dab turns 6! This year looks wildly different than last. I used to travel almost monthly, attend Farmers’ Markets weekly, and when people asked how I was, I always said very busy. I had a weird mindset that busy meant I was hustling harder and on a faster track to my goals. Come 2020- I haven’t travelled once, been a vendor at a single market and while I’m still busy, at the same time, I’m not. Am I hustling? You bet. Are we on track ...to my goals? I have never felt so sure of it. Because 2020 was all about the pivot- mind, body + business. For the mind + body, it was about finding gratitude, compassion + connection. For the biz, (lets face it) it was about survival mode but also cultivating a flourishing community of like-minded individuals. I have learned that you, personally, are only as healthy as your business. And right now, I feel like our heartbeat has never been stronger and we’ve never felt more connected + succinct to our followers. We appreciate you sticking with us this year! New potatoes doused in a Mustardy Vinaigrette is all I want to eat right now! Save this recipe for later!! NEW POTATO SALAD WITH SHALLOT MUSTARD VINAIGRETTE 1 kg new or baby potatoes, scrubbed... 2 tsp SMAK DAB Mustard (any flavour will do!) 2 tbsp white wine vinegar 1 small clove of garlic, finely chopped or grated cup olive oil 1 large shallot, finely chopped 1 small handful of flat leaf parsley, finely chopped (you could also use dill, chives or green onion) tsp Kosher salt Freshly ground black pepper Gently boil the potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and let cool. Combine the mustard, vinegar, garlic, oil, shallot, salt and pepper in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Shake well until combined. Cut the potatoes in half, add the dressing and parsley. Gently fold together and taste for seasoning. Serve warm or at room temperature. @paulineboldt See more

Frequently Asked Questions we get about our Hot Honey Jalapeño Mustard Q: How spicy is it? A: It totally depends on your heat preference, but I personally give it a 6 out of 10! It's also sweet, so the spice is nicely balanced and makes it crazy addictive to eat and cook with! ... Q: The consistency is a bit runny compared to the others, is that normal? A: Yes! The nature of this mustard is completely smooth and more 'drizzle-able' than 'scoop-able', so the mustard will seem more runny than our other flavours! (Think of drizzling on your pulled pork and hotdogs!) We also use pure, liquid honey which is slightly fluid at room temperature. Pop your jar in the fridge and it will tighten up nicley! Q: The honey has separated a bit from the mustard, is that normal? A: Absolutely! We do not add any artificial emulsifiers or thickeners to our mustard (most big brands on the shelf do... yuck!) so the honey will sometimes naturally separate from the mustard. Totally normal. We have something very special to share! In early May, I received an email from @matthew.sobocan informing us of a great honour. The joy and gratitude on my face is real. I am incredibly honoured and blown away that our team and brand would be celebrated in this way! Say ‘hello’ to our Curry Dijon Mustard! It’s sassy, slightly sweet and incredibly versatile! We love this one: mixed with honey and glazed over meats spooned into salad dressing (especially mayo based ones) smeared on a burger... added into your devilled eggs slathered on a sandwich! Pass the fork!! Sassy, saucy and slightly spicy... these ‘Ginger Sesame Green Beans’ are one of our favs! 5 cups green beans, trimmed 4 tbsp sodium-reduced soy sauce or tamari 4 tsp sesame oil... 4 tsp seasoned rice vinegar 2 tsp @smakdabmustard Hot Honey Jalapeno 1 tsp ginger, grated Pinch of Chili flakes, optional 4 tsp sesame seeds, optional In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the green beans until tender, yet crisp, about 3-4 minutes. Drain the beans and place them in a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking. Chill for about 10 minutes. Drain well and pat dry. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, mustard, and ginger. Place the beans in a serving bowl. Drizzle with the dressing and lightly toss to combine. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and Chili flakes. See more
