The Seniors To Go team was really energized today by the incredible variety and freshness of the healthy food on offer at today's *free* Mobile Market stop at a City Housing Hamilton site in downtown Hamilton. This location is home to many of the city's most vulnerable seniors. The residents seemed to be delighted by the assortment of produce as well as the boxed lunches, guacamole and baked goods courtesy of Tim Horton’s on offer! The food delivery part is a collaborative effort between St Matthew’s House, City Housing Hamilton, Food for Life, Goodwill, Wesley Urban Ministries and The United Way with support from a team of researchers at McMaster University, with funding support from the federal New Horizons for Seniors.
