SUNDAY LESSON UPDATE: Tomorrow, Sunday February 14, the hill will be OPEN but all group lessons are CANCELLED due to the ongoing extreme cold. Scheduled private lessons will still run. We have directly contacted all affected lesson participants by email regarding the cancellation.... The hill will remain open for skiing and snowboarding for you to get out and enjoy the sunshine with your family! Lift tickets, rentals, and private lessons are all available. Remember that we are open Family Day from 10am to 4pm too, and tickets are available now on our website.

We are anticipating long lineups at Guest Services and the Rental Shop.... - Be prepared; dress according to the conditions. Whether you like it or not, we live in a winter city and winter is coming. Personally, we love this beautiful season. Especially the snow-covered trees in the river valley and the sight of all of you skiing down the hill. The easiest way to embrace winter is to get into a winter sport like skiing. Once you’re completely hooked by the end of the season, you’ll find yourself counting down the days until it’s winter again. Wow, thank you, Edmonton! Snow Valley is SOLD OUT of lift tickets until Thursday morning. As we must limit the capacity of people on the slopes, we have no more tickets available until then. All scheduled lessons and programs will proceed as planned. If you already have purchased a lift ticket, we can't wait to see you. Tickets for Thursday will be released for purchase online ONLY, Tuesday morning.

Park update - The terrain park is open! There are a few features set up in the main park and a few in the beginner park. Have fun, be safe, and make sure to tag us on instagram @snowvalleyski in your best park shots. We'll be featuring our favourites on our page! Snow Rider is open all week, from 4pm to 7pm. Get set up with, tuning equipment, base layers, gloves, and more! We also do professional ski and board tuning on state-of-the-art equipment. Put on your mask, come drop off your gear, and let our ski techs get it ready for you so you're good to go as soon as the season starts! Like all sports, it takes a lot of practice to become a great skier. Here are some of our tips to give you the skills and confidence you need to start skiing like a pro. 1. Bend. Your. Knees. 2. Go slow, have patience. No one is perfect on the first run, or even the first run of the day. 3. Take a lesson! It’s always great to have an experienced skier give you feedback on your form, and tips on how you can improve. Plus, gaining experience at a smaller hill will help get yo...u prepped to hit the high slopes. The Snow Valley Tent Event is one of Edmonton's best spots to get brand new gear at blowout prices, as well as used rental gear. Winter is coming! This means that it is time for our Guest Services team to relocate from summer to winter operations. UPDATED WINTER OPERATING HOURS: We are pleased to announce that we will be expanding our planned hours of operation to now include full days on Thursdays and Fridays from 9am to 9pm. This means that our regular weekly operating hours for the winter season will be: Monday - Wednesday: 5pm - 9pm... Thursday & Friday: 9am - 9pm Saturday & Sunday: 9am - 5pm We will also be open 9am - 9pm for the School Board PD days on Monday, November 30 and Monday, February 1. Furthermore, we also plan to have public hours on various Saturday evenings until 9pm on dates when there are no private hill bookings. Dates for any Saturday evening public hours will be announced at a later date.

Huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Snow Valley Aerial Park this season! Though this season was different from any other, we enjoyed seeing families and friends having fun, challenging themselves, and spending quality time outdoors. We look forward to seeing you on the Aerial Park next summer, and we look forward to seeing many of you on the ski hill this winter!
