Thank you to our club! Thank you! We did it! COVID threw a wrench in Jeffrys trialling plans, but holy smokes is this an upcoming decoy who is going to be a problem!! Jeff, Elora, Alex, and I bust our ass every week. We seek perfection, we train bc we love it. We are goal driven, and results oriented. We drive, fly, talk, and train hours every week/month/year bc we love this sport of French Ring. We are like minded people who have a love of dogs and this sport. 2020 wa...s a year where we came together with goals, and we hit almost all of them. I personally want to raise a glass to Alex! Not only is she a better trainer and handler than all of us, but she came down with an aggressive allergic reaction the morning of open field and was in the hospital ER receiving IV treatment on Friday night. She awoke Saturday morning tired, sick, and feeling awful. Not only did she and Onyx have their best result, they won the championship! As Saturday progressed her reactions worsened. She awoke Sunday morning, feeling worse, attempted her best with Ludo but was forced to abandon for a number of reasons. It certainly wasnt Ludos day, but hes also a dog who is very strongly bonded with Alex and when shes down his performance wont be on point. So to wrap. Thank you to our club! Love each of you!!! Time to double down, we have a couple more goals in 2020... then, hopefully 2021 is going to be a fun and busy year!!

Cannot thank our club enough for all your hard work this weekend! This is the 3rd Championship weve hosted, and a very unique competition and the only French Ring Championship in North America in 2020! Thank you to all our CRA members for making this happen. Thank you to John Bayreuther, Saul Garcia and Jeffry Chan for solid work, judging and decoying.... Congrats to all teams, handlers and dogs. Best of luck in the 2021 season!!

Wow.... My buddy pulled it out again!!! Iason du Domaine de Louxor (Ionn) is now the x4 Canadian Ringsport Association Ring 3 Champion and x4 2020 Canada Cup Ring 3 Champion!! Im very humbled to have enjoyed the experience with Ionn. My best friend and one hell of a dog!! I cannot thank our SOAR Ringsport club here in Canada and in France enough!! Today was a good day. Things to work on resulting with a 365.475 and 1st Place in todays trial. Thank you to and Ro...main Mallet with Rmdog Service for all your work, help, and guidance along the way. So much love and thanks to Ionns breeder Domaine de Louxor: Aurélie Geagea and Alexandre Boulanger for accepting an inquiry from a stranger with a laundry list of wants. I got every box checked. To our club: Alex Venables, Jeffry Chan, Danni Reid... thank you for your sacrifice and dedication to our journey. You have no idea how much I dedicate your time and effort into our club. Bittersweet day for the CRA... sadness followed by overwhelming pride ! With the announcement that the border will remain closed beyond time time for our Champi...onship, we will officially announce our jury for the Champs as: Judge: John Bayreuther Decoys: Saul Garcia, Jeffry Chan, Charles Cardinal This has been a long overdue scenario. Each of these jury members has proven themselves as dedicated professional advocates of French Ring in Canada! We are excited and thank each of you for your continued support of French Ring in Canada!! We would like to extend our most sincere thanks to our chosen French jury! We hope to have each of you over here in the very near future! Judge: Jean-Pierre Poirier Decoys: Romain Mallet, Manu Mabire and Adrien Bausmayer This is the first time in CRA history we have had an all Canadian Final, and we are very excited for this!!! Three years ago our team took a massive step forward! When Jeffry Chan called us up out of the blue (thank you Mike Reich and Crystal Packard!!!) and said he wanted to train and learn we turned him to a closer club. He insisted to come out. Its been magic ever since! Teammate, friend, and one hell of a competitor! Hes working two Ring 2 dogs right now, and now our first selected decoy. Hes now turning heads every time he decoys a trial.... Big things in the future! Cant wait to go to France brother! Happy gotcha day Chanimal!!! You make our club and dogs better!

Morning all, The trial is now closed. This is how the event will proceed. If your dog needs a scorebook, please ensure we have the information by Friday (Jul 1...0). Friday: - open field by appointment only. Message Ryan for a time. Saturday: - CSAU: 4 - Brevet: 3+DIW - Ring 1: 2+DIW - Ring 3: 2+ DIW Unfortunately as a result of COVID there will not be an on-site lunch or judges dinner. We also cannot permit any spectators.

Update . With the continuation of the 2020 Selectifs, unfortunately, a scheduling conflict has arisen with one of our decoys. We have extended an offer to Man...u Mabire (GTR lvl3) to decoy the Canada Cup, and he has gladly accepted. Now we just needs the border to resolve and we will be on track

Good afternoon all, With the news today that Ontario has loosened the gathering restrictions from 5 to 10, we can confirm the trial will go ahead. We will need ...to make some modifications as to our usual trial procedures. The only people who will be permitted to attend will include the following: - Resident's of the property - Judge: Ryan Venables - Decoys: Jeffry Chan, Daniel Lybbert - SOAR club members - confirmed participants of the trial and one guest (ie a team member or spouse) If Ontario further loosens the gathering restrictions, we will advise here and further allow additional participants to attend. Confirmed participants will be emailed specific instructions on how to proceed on the day of the trial to ensure we stay within the provincial guidelines for gatherings. We are going to cap the trial entries and it will be done on a first come first serve basis. NO TRIAL ENTRIES will be accepted AFTER July 1st. Please see the "about" portion of this event for registering for this trial. We will confirm the second decoy when we determine whether the Canada/US border will open on June 21st. - EDIT - Daniel Lybbert will be the second decoy If you have any questions, please reach out and comment below.
