Meet baby Grace! She’s my (Shauna, co-founder of SLS) 2nd child, she’s 8 months old and an amazing little sleeper. We recently navigated the three to two nap transition and the 8 month sleep regression unscathed which I whole heartedly credit to my extensive and continuous sleep education. Baby sleep is an ever-changing, really bumpy road and it can be so hard to keep up! A lot of parents don't realise how quickly a baby's sleep needs change and it can be easy to unknowingly... fall behind in your baby's sleep development. This can lead to real bumps in your baby's sleep patterns, especially around times of nap transitions, sleep regressions, teething, sickness, growth spurts.. These setbacks can mean new sleep habits creep in or we resort to thinking there is no hope for our babies, but that’s simply not true. It's just about keeping up with these changes that can lead to success! Need help navigating your baby’s sleep? I felt like we had tried everything to get our 7 month old to nap for longer than 25 mins and was completely overwhelmed with all the information out there. I came to sound little sleepers for help with naps but Asha also helped us set up for better nights. She was so patient and understanding with all of my questions. Our naps are so much better now and everyone is getting so much more sleep! -Thank you from Ryker and his mama!
