If anyone is wondering if there are any hydroxychloroquine trials in Alberta, this one is scheduled to start next week https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04329611 The study will be recruiting patients over 18 years of age, with lab-diagnosed COVID-19, has symptoms, and less than 96 hours since lab results. Study coordinators will contact patients who may be candidates by telephone. If eligible, a 5 days supply of meds will be couriered to their home. Two-thirds will get... the med, 1/3 the placebo. Follow up will be done by internet and phone. They are looking for just over 1600 patients and want to have completed by end of July. I posted this for general information.
