Valentines Day Dinner and Show with Tim and Val Walsh on Saturday, February 13th at the Tea Room in Ferryland. Door opens at 6, dinner is at 7 and show starts at 8. Tickets are $35 + HST which includes a roast beef dinner, dessert and show. Reservations required by calling the SSFAC office at 432-2052 (leave a message and someone will get back to you) or email [email protected]. Must be 19+ to attend. Limited seating available.

If you'd like to tune in to our 35th annual Virtual Southern Shore Shamrock Festival, all you need to do is hit the following link at 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 21st. https://youtu.be/8wDDxRD_zro Also, there are still a few seats available if you'd like to come to the Regional Arts Centre to view the Festival. Admission is free, however, due to COVID-19 regulations we ask that you call us to reserve your seat if you wish to attend. We will have soup and stew for purchase for a small fee. Doors will open at 7:00 and the virtual Festival will begin at 8:00 P.M.

We are very pleased to announce that we will be hosting a Christmas Dinner and Entertainment featuring local performers and a skit. Of course, we will be follo...wing the COVID-19 regulations which means there is limited seating available. If booking as a group everyone must be in the same bubble. UPCOMING EVENT NOTICE The SSFAC will be hosting a Benefit Show organized by Randy Crane. Proceeds in support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Randy will be joined by MC Jerome Curran along with Larry Brazil, Laura Brazil and Noel Battcock. Tickets are $20 per person and there is ONLY 100 tickets available. Bookings will be by tables of families/groups/bubbles (6-8 people per table). To book your table please call the SSFAC office at 432-2052. PLEASE SHARE!

It's a beautiful day again in Ferryland....believe it or not! Our Tea Room season is starting to wind down so if you haven't visited us this summer don't delay.....we don't want you to miss out on our delicious Newfoundland fare! We are open Friday - Tuesday from 11 - 4 until September 15!

Today Alderwood Estates took over the Tetley Tea Room and turned it into our very own Karaoke Bar! Thanks to our incredibly talented seniors; Maddie, Bernie and... Nora!! The hospitality of the Tetley Tea House was so heartwarming, as Jamie, Madeline and staff made us feel like we had come home! Even going so far as sending down a care package of their renowned tea buns to Babe Breen and Madeline Maher, who are natives of Ferryland and Aquaforte! The sensational talent of Katie Barbour and Elizabeth Brumm made the day pitch perfect! The food, the friends and music made for a sublime excursion! Hats off to the Southern Shore Folk Arts Council and Tetley Tea House for closing down public access to allow us a safe Covid free bubble for our seniors! Tickets are $25 each with only 50 tickets available. Tickets can be purchased at the SSFAC office or by calling 432-2052. Come out and enjoy an evening with these talented ladies while taking in Ferryland's picturesque harbour! Ferryland's own, Ron Hynes, was recently inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame. To celebrate this great honor, The Tetley Tea Room is presenting "...A Tribute to Ron Hynes." Come join us for an intimate evening with Katie Barbour as she performs some of Ron's most famous songs. The evening includes a three course hot roast beef dinner and entertainment for a cost of $30 + HST per person. We only have limited seating available so don't delay. We are happy to announce that our Tetley Tea Room will be opening on July 3! We will be open from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Friday - Tuesday and will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday. We will also have our deck open with picnic table seating so our customers can sit out and enjoy their lunch while taking in the amazing view of beautiful Ferryland harbour. Please share!
