This is one of my favourite fireplaces. It is a dry stacked Coronado stone and the style is tuscan Villa. The fireplace is in our first home we built. We had tonnes of great memories there. This was our dog Bella a pure breed lab. At the time our daughter was not feeling so great. As a last resort we thought she could have been allergic so we gave her away. What was FUN about this project the materials were really far away. There was a steep decline to the house. One of the team members came up with an idea. Ride the stone boxes down the hill like a TOBOGGAN. It was brilliant and funny as heck to watch. The Masonal Stone is a veneered product. Which means its been cut 11/2" thick so you can install it without a concrete structure. Have you ever wanted to do a project on your home but were concerned about the weight?
