Homelessness Action Week began in 2006 as a way to increase support for solving homelessness by government, the private sector, communities and individuals in the Greater Vancouver Area. The week promotes initiatives for, and seeks to decrease the stigma and exclusion of those experiencing homelessness. At St. Anselm's, we take this one step further by observing Homelessness Action Month. This year, instead of of usual in-person presentations, we are sharing videos during October. Here is Peg, a dedicated member of our Westside Anglicans Neighbourhood Ministry, sharing her experiences and insights as a volunteer.
