CHRISTMAS TIME! Like many of you, The christmas holidays for us is the one time of year where we can gather together to enjoy some time with all of our friends and family. Unfortunately this year, we aren't able to sit down to catch up with everyone and that makes us pretty damn sad.. Fortunately though, in such a crazy world, the christmas holidays still allow us to take a few days to slow down and relax, and for that, we are Thankful! This year was a challenging one for many, but it was humbling to see the way we all came together to shop local and support each other throughout 2020. This year will go down in history for many reasons.. but they aren't all bad! We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and we wish you all the best in 2021!

METAL FABRICATORS AND WELDERS WANTED! Steady Metalworks is looking to add another fabricator to our team. Positions available to start immediately; -One full time welder/metal fabricator ... JOB REQUIREMENTS: -MUST HAVE INCREDIBLE ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND MAINTAIN VERY HIGH STANDARDS -Able to work alone and as part of a team -Critical thinking and problem solving skills -Must have extensive metal fabrication skills -Must have good communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and willingness to learn -Forklift experience is an asset -Familiarity with all common metalworking tools such as angle grinders, cold cut saws, bandsaws, torches, etc.. -Ability to read blueprints including welding symbols. -CWB welding tickets or ability to pass CWB weld testing is required -Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends would be an asset but not required -Experience with GTAW, GMAW and SMAW welding procedures.
