Check out the new library app "Destiny Discover." It lets you see what books, ebooks, and audiobooks are available and see what you currently have signed out in your account. Check out ebooks and audiobooks, and download them onto your device if you want to listen to or read the material offline. Watch for the "Place Hold" feature to be added soon. Students log in to Destiny Discover with their school user and password information.

Tomorrow is Orange Shirt Day. Wearing your orange shirt is a way to create conversations around the impacts of the residential school system in Canada and to celebrate the resilience of Indigenous communities and cultures. We will be wearing our orange tomorrow and invite our students to do the same. We will be having classroom conversations and activities this year in place of our whole school assembly.

Yesterday, September 23rd, marked a very special day for Isaac. It is the 1 year anniversary of his last chemo treatment. We celebrated with a donut!

A fun game of quiz, quiz, trade to practice multiplication in Grade 6 French. Every student creates their own questions/cards to quiz other students and build their knowledge :)

Tuesday, Sept 8 - Grades 1-6 Last Names A-K attend Wednesday, Sept 9 - Grades 1-6 Last Names L-Z attend Thursday, Sept 10 - All students in Grades 1-6 attend... Friday, Sept 11 - No School (PD day) **Reminder to Pre-K & Kinder parents - Please follow the staggered entry times and dates that you have already received. We are working hard at managing the number of students in boot rooms and hallways and following sanitization protocols. Please do not send your children before their designated time. Last Names A-K will arrive between 8:20-8:30 am. Dismissal at 2:55 pm. Last Names L-Z will arrive between 8:30-8:40 am. Dismissal at 3:05 pm. The staggered drop-off and pick-up time will continue until otherwise directed (likely the rest of the year). If you need to pick up your child early, please call the office when you are parked in the front loop and we will send your child out. There will be no need for you to come into the office as we will sign your child out when we pass them off to you outside.

Please make sure that you have completed and submitted your child's Student Demographic Update information, located in your Parent Portal, by September 3rd. This is an Alberta Education requirement. Thank you. https://powerschool.cesd73.ca/public/

The Daily Health Checklist is an important tool to help us keep our school community safe. Parents must go through the checklist prior to sending your student(s) to school. If you answer yes to any of the questions your student may not attend school that day. There is NO requirement to print or provide the checklist to the school.
