To everyone who has been waiting for physiotherapy services to resume, you are not alone! Please bear with us as we wait for policy changes. Ontario Physiotherapists have been waiting to be allowed to open beyond Emergency clients. Eventually the non-emergency injuries become urgent or ultimately the lack of care will create severe long-term consequences. Step Forward Physiotherapy has been preparing the clinic to be able to see non-urgent clients and we are just waiting fo...r the green light from the province. At this time, we are still only able to see emergency clients due to the provinces directives. Our association highlighted this issue to the government on May 15th and we have not seen any change in policy. See letter below. Once we can open for non-emergency cases, I will let you all know! Yesterday was my last day at North Simcoe Physio. It was pretty hard to end that chapter in my life. I grew a lot as a person and as a physio. A big shout out to the entire staff!!
