Copied from original post: Wow what a day! We had 36 kids in total registered to receive gifts from the RCMP 12 Days of Giving toy drive. Toys were sorted, distributed amongst the bins, cleaned and then hand wrapped by our RCMP families. The girls did the finishing touches and we managed to fill the floor in the biggest jail cell with gifts going to kids who are going to have the best surprise this Christmas. So many thanks to the RCMP families, partners, businesses and the community of Hudson’s Hope for making this all happen!

Copied from original post: Just a reminder that today is the last day to donate to the RCMP 12 Days of Christmas Giving. Bins will be collected this afternoon by 4-5pm depending on time of closure for each location. A big thank you to all participating drop off locations, our partners FOHH, DOHH, HHESS and especially to the community of Hudson’s Hope for making this Toy Drive a complete success.

The Hudson's Hope Lions Club is happy to announce we will be having our Annual Christmas Dinner by Drive-Thru! Just 5 Dollars will get you Turkey Dinner with a ...Roll and a Desert! Tickets are available at Marg's Mini Mart and Legacy Village Market as well as from your local Lions Members. December 12th 2020 at the Hudson's Hope Community Hall with Service from 5PM to 8PM. The season of giving has really been strong this year! Our guests are mostly workers who spend weeks or months away from home and work 7 days a week. While they stay at Stillwater our goal is to help them feel at home and to introduce them to our community, so that they can appreciate and respect its beauty and sense of community. This past week we have had 7 bags of food donated by some of our long term guests, this is a testament to the respect they have built while staying here.
