Here’s what Coach Chad had to say: With a busy household of little ones and balancing different commitments, my favourite go-to snacks are: 1. A protein bowl which includes a scoop of Paris Natural foods protein, 2 tablespoons of almond butter(can substitute any seed or butter butter) a scoop of espresso greens powder, and some almond milk from Costco. 2. My other go to snack that we all eat as a family on the go is an apple with a small handful of nuts like almonds or pecans and a hard boiled egg. This months Benchmarks! This is what we're basing a lot of our progressions and training towards. In addition to always covering some base movements (like Squats and their variations) and some other tough skills, we are periodized to improve at the benchmark workouts - originally designed to measure our improvement at our sport :)
Happy New Years! As 2020 comes to a close we polled our members about ways that this challenging year has helped them grow. Below were the recurring themes we kept seeing: - Gratitude - Focus... - Priorities were sorted out - Realizing you don’t have to Hustle 110% ALL THE TIME - Fitness is still possible, even with minimal equipment and being stuck at home! We have done our best to help you amazing people with your health, fitness and goals and we feel so blessed to be able to share time with you every week. Take your vitamin D! It's cheap, it's easy, and everyone can do it. You won't get it from the sun from ~October to ~March, so do yourself and everyone that's around you a favour, and pick some up and start taking it every day. We have some at the clinic, but you can find it at most health food stores and grocery stores too.

Keepin’ it clean folks! Your health and safety have always been our # 1 priority at the Sudbury School of Fitness. The following safety and sanitation protocols are in place both in the clinic and gym: We are maintaining our fogging, frequent sanitation (including wiping equipment before and after use), separate entry and exit points, as well as distancing measures (3m in the gym) to keep you safe so you can continue to stay well and fit under our roof. Our team receives te...mperature screenings daily and we are continuing the use of PPE for staff, clients and members. A huge thank you goes out to all of you who are actively following our procedures. We love seeing you in our space! #strongertogether #literallyandfiguratively
