Last night our team was out observing & reporting in the @CityofSurrey when #Canada fell from the sky! Yes that’s right - the flag on the big pole came off & landed in front of the teams vehicle. Everyone is safe & the flag is now home @SurreyNowLeader @GlobalBC @CTVVancouverBRK

What's better on a blustery December day than to have some community partners from @theicbc and @rcmpgrcpolice drop by to support our Traffic Safety Program! #roadsafety #distracteddrivingawarenessmonth #december #communitysafety #partnerships

As part of #VisionZeroSurrey and the #seebeseen campaign, we’re handing out reflectors to help pedestrians stay safe on our roads. At this time of the year with darker days, rain, and fog, road conditions can be challenging for all road users. We all play a part in keeping ourselves and others safe. Ways pedestrians can stay safe: wear bright or reflective clothing and/ or use a flashlight if walking in the dark when walking - be alert, ensure you are visible to drivers ...and always use a crosswalk be careful at intersections - always cross with the walk signal and watch for turning drivers make eye contact with the driver before crossing the street to make sure they see you and stop See more
