Interested in having your dog retrieve an object. Here is a great way to get started. It is called a Thing in a Thing. Baloo is putting an object into a bowl. There are three steps: 1. Dog picks up object from the floor... 2. Dog outs nose into bowl - first rep you capture the behavior by putting a treat in the bowl and clicking when your dog puts their head in the bowl. Then continue by showing the bowl and clicking when his nose goes to the bowl. 3. Dog picks up object and goes towards the bowl with object - you catch it at first and then slowly make it harder fo him once he has confidence in the putting the thing in the thing by himself. https://youtu.be/89nUKAK72Qg
