Takara's Legacy Series 13.11.2020

A while ago I saw a post that an atheist friend liked, and when I saw it I knew right away there was something wrong. When I first looked at it, I couldn't figure out a rebuttal against it, but after giving some thought, I finally figured out why it is incorrect. The post I saw claimed this "You don't need religion to have morals. [ 651 more words ] https://writingandbakingaddict.wordpress.com//can-you-rea/

Some of you might recall a blog post I wrote, about Motion M103 that was being discussed in Canadian Parliament. For those that don't know what this motion was, it was a motion that targeted the idea of "Hate speech," and in particular, Islamaphobia. As I have stated before, I am vehemently against any form of controlled speech and consider it as an attack against one of the most fundamental freedoms we used to have. Hi everyone, glad to be back I am sorry for being absent. Last week I didn't have a blog post due to becoming ill with heat exhaustion. Trust me it's not as much fun as you think, and I'm still trying to heal from it. Let's just say I was burned so badly my skin blistered and bubbled. It looked so bad, I could have joined the circus as a living reptile man, lol. Anyway, to top it all off, I was really busy trying to pack and prepare for my wife's birthday this last weekend. We spent the weekend at the Crowsnest Pass and enjoyed some sightseeing with her family. So before I leave you, I promise that I will have a blog post tomorrow, as well as one for this weekend to make up for last week. I pray that you all are doing well, and I look forward to writing my next post.

For as long as I have been baking, one of my favorite things to play with is Fondant. The stretchy and gooey texture, the ability to mold any shape you want, and if it's homemade, the taste isn't that bad. I used to use the store bought fondant but it tasted horrible, and to be honest, I am just one of many who does not enjoy a mouth full of it. https://writingandbakingaddict.wordpress.com//fun-with-fo/

Today I must apologize to you my subscribers, for the long reprieve from my blog. Recently there has been a lot of changes in our lives at home, and I am trying to adjust to the new schedule. As of last week, I found a part-time job that will help sustain us through the summer, Praise God. With these extra funds, I will also be saving up to go back to school and take some more courses so I can hopefully get a full-time job later this year. Recently I came across an interesting documentary discussing the ideas of the "male rights movement." For many, this is laughable as the idea of "male privilege," has become the focal point of contention. Many who side with "feminism" somehow see those who rally for men's right's, as the enemy, and that they support the idea of subjugating women in society. Now I most certainly cannot say that there aren't men out there that would support the idea of women being forced into traditional roles. Many of us have gathered together in the past week, to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Now for those closest to me, they know that I personally don't practice or partake in Christmas and Easter. I have done exhaustive studies into the history of both holidays, and my wife and I have chosen to abstain from its practice. I was out first thing this morning filling up the tank of our van when I happened to pass a sign in front of a local Catholic School. "Love in Action is Mercy," it said in bright white letters facing the road. As I drove home, I began thinking, how many people associate only positive aspects to love? It's actually fascinating how much this word Love has been twisted to only support the good fuzzy feelings it can give us. I don't regularly watch the news or even follow it these days. Most of the stories told are usually aimed to attack a particular person or group for their beliefs or ideologies. It really sickens me as I witness the demonizing of the Christian faith in our society, while all other things are held up as the golden standard. Watching this world slowly sink into the dark morass of deception and immorality, only fuels my convictions as a follower of Christ. As you may know, I enjoy spending my time making cakes and decorating them. I started doing this several years ago, and it's been one of my favorite pass times since. I used to only use boxed cake mixes but for the last year or so I have begun experimenting with from scratch cake mixes. The first few I came across on the net either turned out to be dry, or they lacked in taste. [ 271 more words ] https://writingandbakingaddict.wordpress.com//a-yummy-mois

So here is a question to all of my followers. I am still working hard on my next book, but it will still take me a bit of time to finish. Sorry for the delay but with everything going on in my life I've had to put it on the back burner. As for my question, who would be interested in a monthly chapter to a short story I have come up with recently? It would be free, and I would post it up on my website for everyone to read. Let me know what you think in the comments below, and I will finish up the first chapter asap.

Evolution, the change in the gene pool of a population from generation to generation by such processes as mutation, natural selection, and genetic drift. It's preached in our schools as science fact, and those who dissent from this worldview are considered heretics and fools. Religion is always bashed as the new religion "Science," is touted as the one and only truth out there. [ 1,291 more word ] https://writingandbakingaddict.wordpress.com//my-struggle-
