We're grateful for this partnership as it provides an opportunity not only for students and staff to donate their textbooks, but members of the public in Vancouver as well! You will find two dropboxes on campus, one in the main hall of A Building and the other just outside the bookstore

March is B Corp month and we wanted to share our story to let you know how we use #businessasaforceforgood Seven years ago, Chris was in Kenya as a guest lecturer and first saw the condition of the university libraries there. Noticing sparsely filled shelves and students sharing photocopies of out-dated material he knew something had to be done. Mobilizing his peers at the University of Western Ontario, the earliest edition of Textbooks for Change was born in a garage. Thei...r goal? To improve the educational landscape for post-secondary students around the world. A business with the intent to do good, the very definition of a B Corp. That purpose is still what drives every T4C employee today. We would not do what we do if we weren’t creating real impact for people around the world. What began as the vision of one social entrepreneur has since inspired students, professors, and community members from across the globe to grow Textbooks for Change into a successful social enterprise and top-rated B Corp. #BCorpMonth #VoteEveryDay #socialchange
