Hello TGP families. Tomorrow the staff is meeting and will receive training on our new protocols and procedures. The documents have been posted to our Himama accounts. For school age children, you will receive this by email once you are confirmed to return. We have most of our logistics figured out. Happy Weekend TGP families. There have been many questions about our new policies and procedures for opening the centres. We are very busy creating this new document and are hopeful to be completed very soon. Please remain patient and it will be posted when this document is completed.

Licensed childcare in Nova Scotia will reopen June 15. All facilities must have a site-based plan in place, based on the public health guidelines. A copy of the guidelines is available at https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/education.

Good morning TGP families. We look forward to seeing you soon. We are taking our time to digest/plan/prepare/organize etc... in preparation for re-opening. We will be using this facebook page and HiMama to keep parents up to date. ... As you may have heard, we will be opening up at with 50% capacity. One of our first priorities will be to connect with our families and schedule who will return. We will start to create a list of families who would like to return We are asking families to email the centre at [email protected] If you would like to return right away, please add your your centre name and June 15th return to the subject heading so we can easily sort the messages. ex. June 15th return, Pleasant st. Not returning on the 15th? Please email or choice: - Slow return, (name of centre) A slow return means you would be able to hold off until we can increase our capacity. ( a few weeks/ a month? ) - September return ( name of centre) - Withdraw from program ( name of centre) Families we do not hear from will be contacted. We have over 250 families to connect with, please be patient. Attached is a memo for our families

New information about re-opening is just starting to come in. We will be posting updates here and though Hi Mama as we get organized to re-open.

June 15 is the tentative reopen date for the childcare sector. The confirmed reopening date will be shared with Nova Scotians once the plan is fully approved.

COVID-19 Maritime family Survey The survey is open until Monday, May 4th and is intended for parents/guardians with at least one child 8 years of age or younger living in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia or Prince Edward Island. Good evening TGP families, Each of our childcare locations will be open tomorrow and will be closing for the following 3 weeks. I am sure this brings a lot of added pressure, and questions to an already difficult situation. As of right now we are talking to our consultant at the department of education and patiently waiting for answers to our many questions as well.
