"The world of reality has its limits; the world of imagination is boundless." ~ Jean-Jacques Rousseau Imagination is powerful! It reminds us of where we want to go, that anything is possible as long as there is passion present and that dreams do come true, if we are willing to put the work in. Imagination can also serve as a rest and recuperation tool when we need it the most. Here are some tips on how to keep your Imagination alive: #becausementalhealthisimportanttoo #we...llnesswednesday 1. Visualisation Board: you can literally print, draw, or digitize a visualization board that reflects your desires, dreams and goals. Wake up to it, go to sleep with it. This ties into my next tip: 2. L.O.A: Law of Attraction: Close your eyes and visualize your dream "destination"; where would you like to see yourself personally or professionally? Imagine the emotions and physical sensations you feel as though you've already achieved your important goals. 3. Journal your thoughts: By writing down your dreams, you can escape reality and go anywhere - in your mind! This was one of the reasons I fell in love with reading and writing. Words hold power! Use them wisely. List your goals and remember the universe loves details!date them - when do you want to achieve that goal by? 4. Action! Dreams don't work unless you do, so baby step it out. Imagination and manifesting are things I adore. They can take my mood from sour to sweet in moments, and they can teach us the steps we need to take to make things happen. Trust and have faith in this process! Have you used your imagination to manifest your dreams? Or do you just have a go to visual that brings you peace and joy? Let me know! Dream away wildly! Dedicated to my amazing Nani-ji and Nana-ji (maternal Grandmother and Grandfather). Today is your Birthday, Nana-ji, so here's wishing you a beautiful day with your loved ones up in heaven. Thinking of you always My Grandfather was a very talented Architect with a dream to raise his family in London, UK. He arrived from India with very little in his pocket, and worked tirelessly towards his dream, with my Grandmother by his side as they raised their beautiful family; thre...e young girls; two I'm blessed to call my aunties and ofcourse, one of them I'm so blessed to call my wonderful Mother. I hope to be even as half as hard working you Nana-ji! You are my inspiration. When I see the sunshine, I think of you, because I remember you being on vacation with us at our home in Canada and looking out the window to the sun, and saying "God is great!", while wearing a big, beautiful smile. I knew it was the moment you knew we were going to be okay, and it also reflected how you took so much joy in the simple things. You both taught me love is patient, kind, generous and compassionate. Is it any wonder you were born the day before Valentine's Day? So proud to be your Granddaughter. Lots of love always, Sangeeta #happybirthdaygranddad #grandfathersbirthday #nanaji #bestgranddaddyever #bestgrandparents #bestgrandfather #memoriesmade For More, Follow Me On: Facebook: Sangeeta Music Instagram: @sangeetamelod

Vocal Tip# 1: The mother of all tips when it comes to Vocal Health and Wellness in general: Stay hydrated and drink up that H20!Remember, music is oxygen, but water is life. We can't dream of hitting those high notes unless our vocal cords are moistened and our throats are clear; water can help us achieve this. #fosteringartistwellness Here are some fun ways to incorporate more water in your daily regime: 1. Infuse your water with fruit ... 2. Mix water with honey and a tiny dash of lemon (never go solely with just lemon: for singers, this can strip away the lining of your throat and damage it over time. I'll talk more about foods to avoid later - my #ownyourvoiceprogram (Coming Soon) will cover this in more detail 3. Add an hourly reminder on your phone to drink a glass 4. Add in electrolytes & minerals to your water, which will replace any energy we have lost throughout the day due to stress 5. Download a fun app on your phone to remind you to drink up! My fave is: "Plant Nanny" Water also detoxifies our body, energizes us, helps with digestion, fights stress, aids our respiratory system and clears our skin. However, don't overdo it! Likecworg everything, balance is key. Let me know below how these tips help you and if you spot any difference in your vocal quality & overall health.
