Theatre Aquarius believes that Black Lives Matter. We believe that all forms of prejudice and bigotry are wrong. We recognize that the experience of the Black community in North America is unique, and that it is difficult, almost impossible, to truly understand the pain that centuries of discrimination have inflicted upon countless innocent human beings. While we are grateful to live in an inclusive country, we acknowledge, as our Prime Minister has said, that systemic racism exists in our society, and that we all can and must do better to overcome prejudice in our own communities and our own hearts.
