Reggie, age 13. When we met him last month he had spent the previous 2 weeks in severe back pain with weakness and trembling in his back legs. We learned he had 2 previous spinal surgeries in 2014 and 2015, and his owners feared he would need another one or have impairment and pain for the rest of his life. Upon examination we discovered inflammation and stiffness at several areas of his mid and lower back with associated neurological deficits to his rear left leg. After his first adjustment his owners said his leg shaking was significantly better, his left hind limp was improved, and he was able to get around the house much better. By the second adjustment and some at-home exercises he was starting to take a running start up the stairs again! Craig Landry

Jax update!! Guys!!! This dude got HOOKED UP with a brand new set of wheels thanks to a wonderful donation from Gunnar's wheels - an amazing non-profit organi...zation helping handicapped pets! Special thank you to those who connected me with this organization and for Lana McLeaming for paying it forward. Jax received an overwhelming amount of support - so many of you offered to donate to his cause and improve his quality of life. People offered wheelchairs, assistive devices and even offered financial donations should we have set up a go fund me for him. After such a brutal year for everyone, the kindness and generosity was appreciated more then ever. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I’m blown away by how fast Jax has gotten accustomed to his new wheels! He’s using his back legs more then I would have thought possible and has even been chasing the geese around at the park. Go Jax, go!!! Chantel Pereira Doggy Friends! This handsome dude is my buddy "Jax" and he is a GOOD boy! He came to me a few weeks ago because of hind-end strength and mobility impairments that have gradually gotten worse over the last 6 months. Jax has made minimal improvement with chiropractic care to date and I have come to the clinical assumption that his condition is very likely due to an autoimmune disease known as Degenerative Myelopathy, of which there is treatment or cure. This disease is a chronic, progressive disease of the spinal cord that causes irreversible hind limb weakness and paralysis. Jax is a very happy dog and is otherwise a healthy guy. I believe his quality of life (and his owners) would be greatly enhanced with the help of a wheelchair. With the holidays coming, I am putting it out there to see if anyone has a used wheelchair that they would be willing to donate to Jax so that he can motor on and keep living his best life. Please spread the word for Jax! He is approximately 75lbs. Thanks everyone! Dr. T

Harley, age 12. When we met him last month he was in severe pain, his spine was arched up and he was having difficulty walking on his rear legs. We learned he had a bad back for 3 years and his episodes were getting worse. This time, his 4th episode, his symptoms were now becoming neurological. Due to his age and other health conditions he was not a good candidate for surgery. Upon examination we discovered his spine was arched up and his T12-L3 vertebrae were rotated and inflamed. We’re happy to report that with 4 weeks of adjustments and rehab exercises Harley is a new man He’s walking great, his spine is flat and relaxed again and he is going upstairs for the first time in years Harley is now ready for maintenance adjustment so we will see him again in 2 months for a check-up
