When FlySwoop put the call out for videos to help advertise the Anti-Bullying message of Pink Shirt Day, we were all in! Use the hashtag #LiftEachOtherUp to share your story on how you can increase kindness in your community! The kids shared something I make them do most mornings: 1) Stand straight and with confidence 2) Yell "I am awesome! I am brave" 3) Go forth and spread the word. REMEMBER - #PinkShirtDay is this Wednesday! Wear pink and use the hashtag!... (Simon is convinced that FlySwoop will let him on an airplane for doing this video ) Feel free to share this video!

My friend Farha shared this today and I read the whole thing. While my kids are too young for smartphones, the topic of technology and young minds is still relevant to us. I love how this mother approached the conversation with her daughter. In fact, as I read it, I even thought to myself "I need to un-tether more often." Ordering an alarm clock now.

Have you heard of The Nook Cafe ? I love their button program and plan on bringing my kids in so they can purchase buttons for others. THIS is what community is all about.
