PS4 - Latest Update Controversy Hello everyone, back at you with a little bit of T. Seems with the latest update to Sony system software has done two important things. First they have given us the ability to do two step verification. This is a good thing, and its fucking stupid that it wasnt implemented sooner. Second, you had HAD to consent in order to use in game chat. This effectively gave Playstation the ability to record your conversations as an additional safety measure... for the community. Nope, cant see any reason this could be abused. Its not like we live in a culture full off blue haired cancel trolls who would use this to report any part if speech they believe to be unhealthy to their fragile mental state. Not surprisingly when this was discovered it caused swift and widespread outrage. Personally i dont care about the feature I generally dont use chat because people are stupid and say stupid shit. That being said though this update is a joke, you HAVE to consent to it, you have no option to decline it. I feel like a way to make everyone happy is just to have those who consent allowed to be together and let those who dont do the same. On one hand I can see the merit of such a change especially for women who generally face a disproportionate amount of harassment online which differs from the typical vile Call of Duty fair of asking you to do reprehensible things to your mother. This would offer them some small measure of protection should they want it. Same with anyone really who feels that the online environment is unsafe. On the otherhand, there are people like me who arent offended by anything and remember the PTSD caused by Modern Warfare 2 lobbies all to well. We folk dont want to be protected, we dont need to be we are big lads and lasses capable of dishing as well as recieving and our chats should be free of Playstations scrutiny and biases.I am 100% fine with people protecting themselves, they should be able to opt in for this update. I should also be allowed to opt out. This update as it is, is complete bullshit.

ANIME - The Devil Is A Part-Timer Six years since it became a hit in Japan I came across this gem. The plot revolves around Satan, King of Demons who gets exiled from his homeland after being defeated by a legendary hero named Emilia imbued with a shard of heavenly power in the form of a sword. Alongside of Satan is his trusted general Alciel. Together they find themselves transported to Earth where they are forced to live among humans. Given his sinister origins and the atro...cities you would expect from a character such as Satan. It is an amazingly whimsical and fun experience to watch the Devil try and rebuild his kingdom on Earth through working at MgRonalds. There are plenty of interesting characters including the Devils nemesis the legendary hero Emilia Justinia. I particularly enjoyed watching how this relationship evolved and changed throughout the season. However, unless you read the light novels they are not fleshed out very well. The story is not very involved but its a sufficient opening act and solid introduction. The biggest disappointment in The Devil is A Part-timer is that there has yet to be a second season. This is an anime that could honestly go a fair distance. The first season offers up several side characters and revelations which hint at a larger overarching and more sinister plot. This would be a perfect grab for something like Netflix 8/10 See more

ANIME - Blood-C Plot revolves around highschool student Saya who, living with her father trains by night as a swordsman to kill some insanely violent demons. By day shes a slightly awkward highschool student with friends and schoolwork to do. She took up the mantle of demon slayer or shrine maiden from her mother. The story takes some pretty major twists but I cant seem to care because of how useless Saya is. Yeezus, this is a terrible anime. Saya the main character of the st...ory is wholely useless throughout the limited series. The whole hook of the plot is the purpose of the story so I cant even go into why this anime pisses me off so much. By Ep.10 you start to learn the truth of things although your almost guaranteed to figure things out before then, at least you will make your assumptions and some of those might be correct but id be impressed if you guessed the climax of the overarching plot. Saya's story itself revolves around a covenant between humans and demons called Elder Barons, this covenant is called the Shrove Tide, basically meaning demons get to feed on people and in return the demons dont eat everyone. Saya is tasked with a holy quest to stop the Shrove Tide at all costs. Her actions carry with them some pretty dire consequences. Its an extremely violent and gory series, and in my opinion thats really all it has going for it. The inevitable plot twist tries to be clever and definitely has its 'what the fuck moments' but its execution is really annoying, especially over the first 10 episodes. The final episode is so unnecessarily, pointlessly violent its laughable. One of the last battle scenes however between Saya and a pivotal charachter is pretty badass andvis by far the most well drawn action sequence of the series. I would give it a 3/10.

Call of Duty: Cold War Hey guys. I am back with a brief review. It is insane how much depression will steal from you.
