Well...we are back at home and not able to gather to worship as we have been blessed to do since October. In these days of separation and uncertainty be assured that God is with us and that He will hold us fast in the hollow of His Hand. We have had questions regarding worship and giving. As information becomes available to us we will share it you. Today is the beginning of Lent.... Although this Lenten Season may look a little different than previous years' because of the global pandemic, the message and meaning remains the same. We are to use this beautiful time for cleansing our souls, to turn away from sin and to turn toward the Lord. Whether you give up something, add something to your faith journey, or choose to give something to others this Lent, each sacrifice is special in its own way. As we are not able to gather together and pass out the quarter cards this year, we are asking that you would find a loonie roller and fill it in place of the usual quarter card. Then at the end of Lent we will collect them. Please reach out to your church friends that are not on FaceBook and let them know. May God Bless you all as you stay safe at home and in your bubbles. Be assured of our thoughts and prayers. If you need us we are available at any time. Please call us at 571-1171 (Capt. Keith) or 571-5944 (Capt. Charlene).

Good Morning Friends this just came from DHQ. You are aware of the latest updates from Public Health, which brings great concern for our Province. I’m writing to inform you that we have decided to suspend all in-person worship services for the next two weeks. While there may be areas less affected than others, we are hearing about cases across the province, so out of an abundance of caution we want to ensure utmost safety for our people and avoid any contribution to furthe...r spread of this virus. We are also aware that many of our people do not have a comfort level in attending in-person services at this time. Although Public Health has not yet mandated this step (that can change any day), we feel this is in the best interest of all. These measures are in place for the next two weeks and will be reviewed alongside Public Health guidance. We will keep monitoring the situation, including today’s briefing, and advise you if anything should change. Thank you for your attention to these matters. Our prayers continue to be with you as we move back to this new level of restrictions. See more
