R E L E A S E + R E C E I V E Have you ever noticed that as you let go of a person/place/thing something new shows up within that space? A slight shift in... intention, or physical/emotional/mental energy can do wonders when we are looking to uplevel in a certain aspect of our life. I remember reading about this years ago and the example given was...want a new bike? Go into your shed and release the old one. Make the space in your life for the new one to arrive. Now this is a pretty basic example, but it can be applied to anything. Want a healthy relationship, release the toxic one. It is about making the physical/emotional/mental capacity for something new to show up. Healing, learning lessons and releasing the ties to what no longer serves us so we have that void, the beautiful space in between for something new to enter. Now here is the kicker. That void can be an uncomfortable place, hence why we have addictions...the key is to unconditionally love ourselves so much that we will not accept just anything to fill the void for the sake of...well having this uncomfortable space. We must learn to love this space, be alone in it. Not settle for the sake of. Letting go is the easy part. It’s the growing into, the expansion and that darn diggity void that keep us were we are at. Wanna grow? Release, claim your worth, cultivate unconditional self-love (the key to curing those void blues), get cozy with yourself (mind/body/soul), allow that journey of discomfort - the hallway in-between releasing the old familiar and welcoming the new desired - to expand us into growth. Think a planted seeds new growth, uncomfortably breaking its way out of the ground.
