The Municipality of Thames Centre and the Community of Thorndale can be very proud of the amazing support and dedication shown by so many local groups and individuals to help make this project possible from the many generous donors to those that assisted in countless other ways.

Another field crops committee update with Thorndale Fall Fair. This time were talking about a brand new field crop category for 2021, honey!

One of the many photos you will find in the 2021 Thorndale calendar! A total of 36 photos to enjoy! A collection of local farms and farm scenery to enjoy throu...ghout the year. We are currently taking preorders. Calendars are $25 each (tax included) and $15 from each calendar will be going to the Dorchester food bank, which currently serves both Thorndale and Dorchester. There is no better time to help those in need especially during the holiday season Preorders can be sent to [email protected] or simply message our page Donation of choice will also be accepted in the store during open hours.

We're very excited to have Patrick Duffin staying on as the Thorndale Fall Fair Ambassador. Patrick has been an excellent representative for our fair and our community over the past year. He has had the opportunity to participate in leadership workshops, fair events and make connections with other Ambassadors from across Ontario. Watch for Patrick driving his tractor in the parade this morning!

Voting has now closed! Congrats to the Walker Family for winning the Peoples Choice Award for Best Decorated Yard. Honorable mention to Kim & Dave Graham who came in a very close 2nd!

Scavenger Hunt Winners! Thank you to everyone who participated

We look forward to continuing the tradition of the annual Thorndale Fair Parade! Thank you to the groups who are working hard to prepare their vehicles and decorations and thank you to Heartland Farm Mutual Thamesford Advisory Centre for their sponsorship of the prize money for our winners! The route begins and ends at the fairgrounds, pulling out at 11am.

We've gone virtual for our beloved Thorndale Fair Baby Show this year! Send us a photo of your baby born since last year's fair to [email protected] by the end of today. Let us know any details like grandparents, birth weight, etc. that we can include with the photo and we'll give these babies a little Thorndale welcome! We'll also be drawing for some fun prizes!
