Join me this Saturday on an exploration of the mental landscape. In this podcast series, a guest and I will be diving deep into their story of overcoming challe...nge, adversity, and beating the odds, so that we can see what is really possible, and what it really takes. The goal of the podcast is that you leave each episode with new insights and inspiration for your life. In this Saturday's episode, we're going to be exploring the journey of Lena Cebula: from growing up in post-USSR Ukraine with rape, drug addiction, alcohol dependence, and being human trafficked twice, to finding salvation, peace, and love here in Canada. See you July 18 at 10 am, right here: https://youtu.be/E-4qvEYwDN0
What do you think it would be like to wake up from attempted murder to be told the murderer was you? This Saturday at 10 am EST, I'll have the pleasure of interviewing Benny Clark who has begun to master his schizo-effective disorder using kayaking so that his illness now helps pave his path instead of destroying it.I've heard your feedback and lives will now be more accessible for everyone! You can now catch that live on Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9VwOjVQ5_4

With the right mindset, anything is possible.
This Saturday on The Mountains We Climb, I will be speaking with Jacob Haendel, survivor of locked-in syndrome, and the only documented case of recovery from stage 4 progressive leukoencephalopthy. He was referred to as a 'vegetable'. Jacob Haendel, a talented 28-year-old chef from the affluent suburbs of Boston, developed stage 4 toxic acute progressive leukoencephalopathy (TAPL) from smoking heroin. TAPL is a fatal disease that damages your brain's white matter - cells that... make a substance called myelin. This protects your nerves and losing it can make it harder for you to move, think, and feel sensations. Within a month he could no longer walk. Within 4 months he could no longer eat. Within seven months, he was locked-in: a comatose state you are conscious through. He is the only documented case to recover from this disease and is here to share his experiences. This will be a two-hour special, airing live at 10 am EST, this time both on Facebook and Youtube (for our friends that don't have FB). If you have any questions that you'd like asked, post them below and we will try our best to get them answered during the podcast! #podcast #miracle #defytheodds #overcome #themountainsweclimb

Our mindset is the foundation of everything we build. What attention are you giving yours? I had the pleasure of speaking with Awais Surahyo about what mindset really is and how to take care of it. Check it out below! https://youtu.be/Fo3DmRmkUgw

...On the way back, I turned down the street that I thought would take me to where I needed to go. It took me through some suburbs which didn't help much as all of the houses looked the same in this area. After a few minutes of running through the burbs, I realized I had made a wrong turn. I had somehow ended up at a dead-end street with a soggy field in front of me. Sometimes in life, we think we are on the right path, and once we've been on just long enough to get momentum..., life throws a soggy field in your way.
