What’s for dinner? Tonight we are having a Taco night! I wanted to share with you have we stretch our grocery budget and still get super yummy and nutritious meals on the table. TIP - use less meat. ... We enjoy farm fresh meats in this house, but sometimes feeding 3 growing teens and a hard working hubby can add up. For tonight taco meat I stretched two pounds of beef ground by adding 2 cups of brown rice, tomato paste and some finely diced mushrooms. We love our epicure taco seasoning, and one package is enough to fully flavour this big pot of taco filler. I love making meals more cost effective by adding beans, rice, quinoa and legumes. It’s a great way to stretch the budget. Beef ground from @ottawavalleymeats Taco Spice from @spiceupyourlifewithsuki
