TRX Bootcamp Lisa 21.11.2020

A 3.5 minute Drop Set on the TRX to fire up the obliques & core. Starting with feet in straps in Plank position I rolled to elbow side plank & tucked both knees in towards my chest firing up external, internal obliques plus transverse muscle group. Feeling Fire in the shoulders as well through stabilization. I performed this set at around 3.5 minutes, then recovered 15 seconds, dropped the set in 30 second increments (3-minutes, 2.5 minutes, 2 minutes, 1.5 minute, 1-minute th...en 30 seconds) with 15 secs recovery between each timed interval. Loving this great core carve leading to a full body workout on the TRX following this set! Two amazing contraptions fused through two core-crush moves this morning. First move is a wide press (parachute press up/hands on floor) with knee tuck/reverse roll-in (Target muscle group = Transverse abdominus+ Hips). My second move is hands on BOSU, press up with Pike Tuck (Target muscle group = both Transverse & shoulders). I performed this set pyramid style at a slow controlled tempo for 2-Minutes. Recovered for 20 seconds then repeated this set at 90 seconds. Recovered... 15 seconds & repeated the set at 60 secs. Recovered 10 seconds & worked my way back from 60 seconds to 90 seconds to 2-Minutes of this very same set again with same interval of recovery times as previously running down the pyramid. I had just a tiny bit of spare time this evening & decided to play around with cocoa, almond flour, coconut flour & some zucchini et voila, I created fudgey chocolate GF-Paleo muffins. Taste tested & approved by my celiac 9-year pls daughter & 21-month old allergy free son. I decided that they are a cross between a brownie & a muffin. Will definitely make these again in the near future as they were not only fun to make but are squeaky clean, light & tasty. As I am on a solid ...sugar-free journey (since July now) I am forever experimenting with grain-free, refined-sugar free ingredients to create wholesome, nutrient rich & tasty treats that my celiac daughter can enjoy & treats that will support me running a healthy gluten free/paleo household.
