Happy 10-year Turkstraversary to the mysterious man behind the computers, our IT manager Luke C! Luke does a very good job of avoiding cameras and likes to stay behind the scenes, but his skills and contributions have been paramount over the last decade. He jumps into action whenever there is an IT issue to be solved and he has turned it off and back on again more times than anyone else in the company. We are still catching up on some of our employee milestones this month. Happy 5-Year Turkstraversary to Stephan Tkach! Steph has made quite an impression over his 5 years with Turkstra. He has excellent taste in music and movies, he is always having way too much fun at work, and somehow also manages to be extremely professional and reliable. He has worked in the yard, at the counter, he was our Foreman in Brantford and currently is now the Assistant Manager at our Waterdown location. Shari started out working at the sales desk and in just a few years has worked her way up to assistant manager and is now in charge of our entire Employee/Customer training program Turkstra Lumber University (TLU). Her can-do attitude, positivity, and attention to detail are just some of her most radiant qualities. She does everything from helping our employees become certified Project Coaches for our Build-it-Better program, to running our employee orientation.
