Full main floor demo at our Lakeview Bungalow renovation. All main walls removed. Structural beefing up of the trusses and now we have a really nice clean slate to work with. If you are thinking about renovating an older home for your family it makes sense to go the extra mile and strip it to the studs. The new insulation and mechanical will add enough life expectancy of this home for generations to enjoy. Even in these challenging times our supplier is coming through for us on tile which was short ordered. Our Lakeview Bungalow project needed some extra attention. The home was built in 1968 during a time when asbestos was the go to product for strength and durability. We had our trade partner Asbestos Solutions https://www.asbestos-solutions.ca adeal with all the drywall and Vinyl tile containing asbestos material. They did a great job in handing over a very clean shell.
