Thank you to everyone who has donated and shared the Turret Arts Space fundraising campaign so far! We've made great progress but we need to keep going! Our board is working hard behind the scenes to secure major funding. Additionally, we submitted a request to Halifax Regional Council to extend our Buy-Back Agreement by one year. We're so grateful for the support our community has shown for our vision of an accessible multi-purpose arts and community space in the Khyber Bui...lding! We're keeping our GoFundMe (https://www.gofundme.com/f/turret-arts-space) and the Turret Online Art Store (https://www.turretartsspace.ca/shop) running while we await a decision from HRM. Stay tuned in the next few weeks as Council deliberates. We are hopeful Halifax Regional Council will grant us the extension we need to make our dream a reality. Your help, donations, shares, and engagement with our fundraising campaign so far, have shown that the community is behind this project! Let's keep it up!

Fun Fact Thursday! The timeline that we’ve featured in posts and videos that shows the history of 1588 Barrington Street was created by Helen Yeomans in 2002! There are tons of incredible details and archival images - such a cool addition to the space! The project was funded by Nova Scotia Arts Council! (Thanks for the information Andrew!)
