Your UASU Executive speaking at today's Edmonton City Council meeting on the topic of the Fall 2020 U-Pass.
Trans lives matter, and a single trans life lost to hate and violence is too many. As we strive for a more inclusive (and ultimately safe) University of Alberta for all students, we must always remember the immense hardships, discrimination, and invalidation facing transgender students every single day. We stand in solidarity with the trans community both on and off campus, and remember the trans people who have lost their lives over the past year simply for expressing their true selves. For any students needing guidance and support in a space dedicated to gender and sexual diversity, we encourage you to get in touch with our team at The Landing Society.

#WellnessWednesday For students the importance of time management can never be understated, and with so many competing priorities you can find yourself overwhelmed if it isn't considered. Purchasing a day-planner of any kind, arranging purposeful breaks and work blocks in your Google/Apple Calendar, or even just making a quick list of items you'd like to get done on any given day are excellent starts towards managing hectic student life.
