Ahh SAVASANA . In this pose, we symbolically put to rest our old ways of thinking and doing. We release control, psychological awareness and all physical effort. We surrender. We give ourselves permission to fully relax.. to take in what we need to, release what we need to. We let go. . I once had a student ask me what Savasana felt like.. and the only answer that made sense was.. ‘freedom’ but not without a bit of ‘suffering’ at first. Because trying to see past our own ...thoughts, beliefs, habits.. that can be challenging for the mind - oh.. but when we surrender, that is the freedom. . . We are missing you. Let’s ride out this Savasana together, it’s going to be a long one, and it’s already testing us. But it will be worth it, the awakening always is. . . Stay healthy & stay mindful, . It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the temporary closure of the studio, effective immediately. Our main priority is the health and safety of our staff and members. We are a commUNITY inside and outside of the studio space. We know how important it is, to keep your mind, body + soul active, especially at a time like this, stay tuned as we are going to work on a digital class to help you stay commitment to your practice we will send more information in the c...oming days on what this will look like. We will continue to follow the direction of Alberta Health Services and monitor the situation as new information becomes available. More than ever, we need to hold each other up as our strength will be tested just remember we got this, together we can get through.
