I have an update from our beloved model and muse.... Hiiiiieeeeeeee, Here we are. 8 months post diagnosis. For those of following along at home:... On the ninth (last week), I had the rest of my lymph nodes in my left armpit removed AND I had them remove my right breast while they were in there. Everything that came off/out has been sent to pathologists so well have an idea of how chemo went. Barring any further excitement (re: Julys emergency surgery BS) Ill be starting radiation in a month or so, once Im all healed up. One week post surgery I am feeling like a goddamned battle axe. Aside from the pain, discomfort, lack of sleep, drains coming out of my body, and some general why me, fuck cancer, fuck everything feelings. Because also, I feel pretty fucking lucky to be so loved by some pretty great people. And dogs. Theres always that.
