Blackwood Gallery's latest video about the lightbox series is out! "From now until December 13, 2020, a series of images titled Radical Hope presents strategies, proposals, and interventions into dominant systems of knowledge, communication, and commemoration. UTM Department of Visual Studies Student Society announced that their pen pal tradition will continue in a slightly new way! DVSSS will transform all submissions (submitted to the google form) into postcards which will then be mailed to another randomly selected pen pal participant. Submissions can include artwork (documentation of physical artwork and/or digital artwork) and/or writing. Get creative! Frame your received postcard, pin it to your bulletin board, hang it above... your deskthis postcard can serve as a marker of the times, as a way to share and own an original piece of art, and as a chance to find a fellow DVS friend.
