Happy Transformational Tuesday! We thought it was about time to talk about periods! Menstruation is a widely stigmatized issue. It’s a necessary biological function experienced by women all over the world and yet still a topic that people are usually uncomfortable talking about. The fact is, a period is nothing to be ashamed about. As the most accessible healthcare provider, pharmacists can play a key role in providing a safe space for women to receive the health care they need and deserve. Let’s empower women everywhere and end the stigma!! There is a powerful documentary on Netflix titled Period. End of Sentence. that won the Academy Award for Best Documentary! We highly recommend it
