One month of organization and half of a year of fresh pastures later, I introduce you all to my new-and-improved + modernized + reinvented website: same domain, same (virtual) designer (with amazing testimonials & affordable rates)...different work and look! 6 months ago, our world entered an entirely new reality; experiencing our very first pandemic of the year, decade, and century. An existence we could’ve never anticipated, fathomed, or prepared for, we all panicked and li...ved our lives in fear, trepidation, frustration. Understandably so, becoming hyper-vigilant or cautious soon rendered an understatement. Aside from my full-time job and side hustles, I channeled my energy into investing my free time pursuing other artistic ventures I always aspired to (but never generated adequate ideas for) from the comfort of my new home I just moved into days before the pandemic began. If the previous statement wasn’t already a mouthful, I’ll summarize that this global epidemic - while tragic and unfortunate - has also inevitably provided awareness and content for consumers and creators alike. In other words, this virus has inspired various perspectives for I and all of us being affected by such circumstances. As a result, I have not only continued my freelance work as a writer and author...but have also developed my own podcast, vlog, and brand promotions. This has allowed me to not only communicate my thoughts surrounding COVID-19 on diverse mediums reaching wider demographics and hopefully resonate on some level with others watching, listening, reading my own work touching on the pandemic - clarifying, interpreting, gathering authentic concepts and explanations - but is also helping me heal through my own insecurities and struggles. Narrative therapy is cathartic, and it’s just such a release to express your emotions and to aim to remind others that they’re not alone. Remember, we’re all in this together! Now you can find my articles, vlogs, podcasts, social media, etc. all in one portal. Contact me if you’d like to work with me or have any questions. Www.valeriebevilacqua.ca. I’ve become addicted to garlic and black pepper. As an Italian, I was already drinking my olive oil and salt. The steak and peas are just a given #cooking #cuisine

Wear a mask, guys. Numbers are escalating, germs are accumulating, etc. Humans we may or may not know; their health is deteriorating, their jobs are being taken away from them, etc. If not them, us...all of us. This pandemic is affecting everyone. The things we need and love to do are being compromised; in the name of protecting our own safety and those around us. Whether we may be directly experiencing the virus or are just aware of it, our physical and mental well-being dep...end on the existence of this global virus that’s eradicating breathing beings by the minute. If you have a job, hold on to it if it’s essential or if you can work remotely; please do so. We require some form of compensation to survive on basic necessities, to live; this is a fact, a reality of life. But, set boundaries. Go about your day, but keep your distance. Social distancing, keep 6 feet away; stay within your bubble, if you reside with families or other loved ones. Wear a mask. Yes there are medical conditions that may prevent or restrict you from wearing one. If you need accommodations, take precautions in doing so. But, try your best. We all have to. The world needs you to, before it shuts down again. Stay safe, everyone! See more

Just like the weather, these conflicting florals and long-sleeved tops confuse me; no matter how cute they are @fashionnovacurve #fashionnova #fashionnovacurve #novababe #ootd

Things aren’t as grey as they seem. Sometimes, they’re just black or white - like this midi dress from @fashionnova @fashionnovacurve! #fashionnova #fashionnovacurve #novababe #blackandwhite #ootd
