From the St. Catharines location; We have rescheduled the installation of our new lit arch for Tuesday, November 3rd. As this is a lengthy process, we have decided to remain closed for exterior washes for the entire day but will remain open for interior services! Thank you

A note from the St. Catharines location; Hi Everyone! It's around that time of the year again where it starts to get darker earlier, and the chill comes in, so we will be switching to our winter hours. Starting on November 1st, we will be closing 1 hour earlier, at 6pm. We will still be opening at 7am, and offering interior services from 9 am to 5 pm. Thanks for your understanding!

To all of our amazing Peel Region customers; due to the lock down commencing on Monday November 23rd we have made a few temporary changes: * Exterior Velocity Members may continue to wash, but please follow our window up policy and refrain from speaking to our Entrance Attendants. Exterior hours of operation will remain the same (please visit our website at washmycar.ca for each locations hours .... and so much more) * Our Queensway location lobby will remain closed d...uring the lock down, however you may call or email us to set up any appointments for interior vehicle detailing and disinfecting services. On Monday October 19th the 2396 Eagle St car wash will be CLOSED for car washes to do scheduled Maintenance as well as fall pit cleaning. We will still be open for Interior cleaning services.

We are continuing to upgrade some of our equipment at our Cambridge location to ensure a clean dry vehicle at an excellent value. We are going to be replacing our washing curtain at the entrance of the wash and being the weatherman is calling for rain this coming Monday Oct 26th we will be closing for the install. We hope to have this done in one day but it may run into Tuesday morning. We will post as soon we reopen either late Monday or Tuesday afternoon. Looking forward to seeing you soon

Great News, after weeks of waiting our new conveyor chain it has finally arrived from China. We will be installing this tomorrow Thursday Oct 22nd at our Cambridge location so exterior car washes will be closed. We will post later in the day when we open back up. All other services are still open and its a great time to get your interior cleaned. Thanks to all our great customers for your understanding and patience.

We would like to apologize to all our Cambridge customers for the recent series of closures. Several weeks ago a routine maintenance inspection discovered the need to replace our conveyor chain that pulls your vehicle through the wash. Normally this isn't a big deal. We call our supplier and order the chain and within a week or two it arrives. To our amazement we have discovered that no one in all of North America has any in stock which is rather surprising as its a fairly co...mmon chain used in thousands of car washes. We have been told by several sources including our Canadian Chain supplier that our chain is only made in China and no one in Canada or the US makes it. If there's one thing this pandemic has shown us its that as Canadians we are far to dependant on imports which really is inexcusable being Canada has more natural resources then almost any other country in the world. So we are struggling to keep the wash working until a shipment arrives from China. Our Canadian supplier told us 3 months however we have found a supplier in the US that on Friday was told a boat from China had arrived in Florida with the chain. Its our understanding it will be on a truck by Monday or Tuesday and on its way to our wash. With any luck are are hoping to install it the week of the 19th. In the mean time we will probably experience some more break downs and temporary closures. We appreciate your understanding and patience while we work through these unusual circumstances. See more
