It’s been an incredible weekend of dance! Our competitive team attended 5678 Showtime this weekend with 140 entries! It was a weekend full of talent, passion, everlasting friendships and memories, hard work and dedication! Way to go team VDI! Our team received 48 Gold medals, 29 silver, 28 Bronze, and 34 Dance World Cup Invites!! We also received cash awards for 1st overall highest scoring duo/trios of year 12 & Under, 3rd highest overall scores for duo/trios 13& ...up, 2nd highest overall scores for groups 12 & under. 6 dancers from VDI received scholarships to attend the Paris/Lisbon summer dance training! Congratulations Kaylie Bishop, Ally Elliot, Ashley Dingwell, Taryn Wallace, Rachel Montague, Giada Centonze. Congratulations to both Elena Pike & Taryn Wallace who were cash award recipients for Dancer of the Year! Elena Pike was awarded overall 12 & under dancer of the year! Taryn Wallace received 2nd runner up dancer of the year! Way to go girls! Congratulations to Morgan Janes, Rachel Montague, and Abi Hanrahan Miller who were cash award recipients for 13 & up Dancer of the Year! Morgan Janes was awarded overall dancer of the year for 13 & up! Rachel Montague was 1st runner up and Abi Hanrahan Miller 2nd Runner up! Way to go girls!
