Hello my Vine & hops friends! A lot of changes lately and hardships for us but we are still here! Today I come with some very exciting news! After nearly a year long search, we have found our location for Vancouver's very first Cider Taphouse location. We are aiming to open at 1602 Yew street, in the heart of Kitsilano, during the week of June 23rd. It has been a year of many highs and lows searching for the perfect venue. We have all watched and experienced the world lit...erally flip upside down. We have seen our species and the entire planet continue to endure devastating blow after blow, communities, cities, countries, individually and collectively. Each of us have both had to face the harsh realities that our long term careers for the past decade and our other respective businesses will no longer exist in the same way through and after all of this. Never give up, never give in. And ABC. Always Be Creating! Through a time of despair, isolation, panic and one of the biggest worldwide, social-economic breakdowns of our lifetime, we found a way. Throughout this journey we have been truly blessed and have such infinite gratitude to each and every one of you in our community, our families, our friends and our industry colleagues that have helped us arrive successfully to this point of the journey. We are eternally thankful for each and every one of you Make no mistake, this adventure is not about ignoring or turning a blind eye to the hardships, sadness, tragedies and injustice that we are all seeing and experiencing in the world right now. This is about building solutions and spirit through joy, kindness and creativity. Our desire is to bring to you a place of community, fun and inspiration. We believe that in the hard times we need to be able to rise above, connect and explore all possible opportunities to build each other up, through our families, our friends, our neighbours near and far and through that all-important relationship we have with this little blue water ball that we call Home. We will be organizing monthly community give backs, beach and street clean ups, we will be partnering up with other local businesses and like-minded organizations in collaborative efforts to create and support positive change. Again we are so blessed and honoured to be in the Kits community, we cannot thank our friends and family enough for their support of these two crazy, like minded brothers(from another mother) following their hearts and dreams, wanting to spread nothing but love in these interesting times.
