Progress! Little studio update: got the studio side of the bathroom wall drywalled last weekend! Finally made some HUGE progress on the studio! Bathroom wall is framed in& inconvenient window is resealed! Next weekend, we drywall the bathroom walls, cut in a door and finish sealing the window! To everyone waiting on masks: I am delivering my first batch today! However, I have some unfortunate news: there will be no filters included. I discovered late last night that the filters I originally received do not have any carbon in them at all and the ones I received yesteday are not properly packaged to guarantee they are sanitary. I am beyond disappointed and have opened an Amazon dispute with the company to get the money back that myself and severalother women spent ...on thia product. On the brightside! I have ordered a material from a company called Filti in the states that is a washable filter material that they have tested and it can block up to 95% of micro particles. They cannot make any guarantees like N95 as they would have to send it through that testing process which can take months, but they are confident enough to sell it for the purpose of mask/filter making. Anyone receiving masks today (and going forward) will be guaranteed 2 of two of these filters per mask once the material arrives and I make it into filters. I have also ordered a better material for making the nose pieces and will be replacing everyone's nose pieces when this is received as well. I sincerely apologize for all the delays and now this new problem with the filters. I am very disappointed that I am not able to immediately provide the product I promised, but it will happen! xoxo and stay safe VVA

I'm going to be ordering/picking up some supplies and will be making reusable face masks for our healthcare workers on the front line and or most vulnerable members of society. Wanna help me out? If you can cut out those metal bits and save them for me, I can come pick them up from you! 3. Do you have fabrics that you could donate to the cause? I can come pick those up to! 4. Share this post! Hello lovelies, It is with the greatest sadness and disappointment that I announce that Vintage View Atelier will be taking an extended hiatus. As many of you know, my partner was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in March. Since then, I have tried to keep up with the demands of working a full time job, two part time jobs, running a business and being there for him when he needs me and, after a week of visiting a friend, I have realized how burnt out I really I am. ...I cannot keep up any more and I was ashamed and scared to admit that to myself because my business is my baby, my pride and joy and I hate the idea of disappointing the people who have taken the time to follow my journey and invest both time and money into me and my work. I am so grateful to all of you. I promise that this is not the end of VVA by any means, just a break to get my life back in order and be the partner that Dayne needs me to be right now. Please, stick around for regular updates and announcements on both his status and the status of VVA.
