The Chantry Island Cham-bettes are thrilled to be hosting the 1st Annual Saugeen Shores Scarecrows event! This years theme is Get Stuffed with all proceeds g...oing to our local food banks. This is a fun community event for local residents and businesses to take part in. Here’s how it works: 1. Start planning now to decorate and install a unique and creative scarecrow at your home or business. **Your scarecrow needs to be installed by October 20th** 2. Register it with us at [email protected] to be added to the tour map. **Registration deadline is October 10th** 3. Start planning to tour the creative scarecrows in the community during the event from October 20 - 31, by purchasing a tour map (by donation) at the following businesses starting on October 15th. Port Elgin: Accents (downtown Port Elgin) Edward Jones (plaza next to Independent) Southampton: Southampton Olive Oil Co (downtown Southampton) Logan's (downtown Southampton) Kristen's Pharmacy (Hwy 21 in Southampton next to Tim Hortons) Can’t go out to get your map? Email or message us and we can arrange a drop off for you! 4. While touring around town with your map, during the event from October 20 - 31), bring along Treats for the scarecrows in the form of non-perishable food items to donate to our local food banks. Scarecrow entries along the route will have donation bins near them to drop off your items. Or contact us and we can pick up your items at [email protected] 5. We are excited to announce that we will be open for in-dining service starting next Wednesday, August 5th 2020! Our temporary hours will still continue to be W...ednesday- Saturday between 5pm-8pm for take-out and dine-in reservations. To book your reservation or Take-out order, please contact us Wednesday-Saturday at 12pm when our phone lines open. If lines are busy, please try again or leave us a message and we will get back to you as soon as we can. 519-832-2461 **This week only we will be closed with limited access to our phone, however we will respond to voicemails for those making reservations for next week** Please take this time to review our Covid-19 safety notes prior to making your reservation. - We will be accepting Reservations only at this time to ensure we can space out our seatings comfortably for our servers and diners. As we are a smaller restaurant, there is limited reservation times available as we cannot seat at our full capacity at this time. - Guests are required to wear masks as they enter and when using restrooms, however can be taken off at their reserved tables * face masks can be purchased at our door for $1 to be added to your bill - We will have a sanitation station at the entrance of the restaurant to ensure all hands get sanitized prior to entering - All servers will be be wearing masks and will consistently be sanitizing throughout service. - Our credit/debit machines will be sanitized after each use - Largest groups we can accommodate at this time will be 6 guests as per Toronto Public Health regulations.
