Art Pick of the day: Kenneth Lochhead. New works on paper. Kenneth Lochhead was head of the art department at the University of Regina in the late 50s and 60s. He was instrumental in kick starting the Emma Lake works shops in Norther Saskatchewan, and was part of the group now known as the Regina Five whom were a group of artist that put Western Canada on the fore front of the action expressionist movement at the time. They were dubbed this name after exhibiting at the ...National Gallery of Canada in 1964. These were some of the works that Lochhead became known for at the time.
